Details
Stanozolol is a man-made steroid, similar to naturally occurring steroid testosterone. Stanozolol is used in the treatment of hereditary angioedema, which causes episodes of swelling of the face, extremities, genitals, bowel wall, and throat. Stanozolol may decrease the frequency and severity of these attacks. Drug Interactions
- Stanozolol+anisindione- Using anisindione together with stanozolol may cause you to bleed more easily. You may need a dose adjustment based on your prothrombin time.
- Stanozolol+dicumarol- Using dicumarol together with stanozolol may cause you to bleed more easily. You may need a dose adjustment based on your prothrombin time.
- Stanozolol+leflunomide- Leflunomide may cause liver problems, and using it with other medications that can also affect the liver such as stanozolol may increase that risk. Because leflunomide can stay in your blood for a prolonged period after the last dose, interactions with other drugs may occur for some time even after you have stopped taking it. You should avoid or limit the use of alcohol while being treated with these medications.
- Stanozolol+mipomersen- Mipomersen may cause liver problems, and using it with other medications that can also affect the liver such as stanozolol may increase that risk. You should avoid or limit the use of alcohol to no more than one drink per day while being treated with these medications.
- Stanozolol+warfarin- Using warfarin together with stanozolol may cause you to bleed more easily. You may need a dose adjustment based on your prothrombin time.
