Details of Fenoverine Salt (Generic Drug)
Details
Fenoverine is a non-anticholinergic synchronizer of smooth muscle motility. It modulates calcium gradient across the muscular cell membrane by regulating the influx of the extracellular calcium and/or release of the intracellular pool. Therefore, fenoverine effectively inhibits the asynchronous spasmodic contractions without appreciable interferences with the physiological synchronous motility of the intestine.
Typical Uses
Fenoverine is an Antispasmodic, prescribed for muscle spasms.
Side Effects
Common side effects of fenoverine include muscle pain, stomach upset and damage of skeletal muscle.
