Clofarabine, a purine nucleoside anti-metabolite is approved for the treatment of refractory or relapsed acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) in adults and children who have tried other treatment unsuccessfully. Clinical trials are underway to study the efficacy of Clofarabine against acute myeloid leukaemia and pediatric myelomonocytic leukaemia.
